Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. That does not make it safe. It does be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
